Greg & Gayle Lynch
Owners, It’s A Good Sign
About Us
It’s A Good Sign is owned by East Dallas residents and entrepreneurs, Greg and Gayle Lynch, who have lived in the Lochwood neighborhood for more than 22 years.
Greg began his entrepreneurial career in 1992 when he bought The Lakeshore Times weekly newspaper in Rowlett out of bankruptcy and turned it around, quadrupling both circulation and average page count with a minimum increase in expenses. Within a year of taking over, he acquired the assets of Rowlett’s competing newspaper and further increased circulation and advertising sales for the newly-branded The Rowlett Lakeshore Times. During his last year and a half of ownership of the Times, Greg successfully defended the newspaper’s position with no loss of revenue against a strongly backed competing newspaper that opened in Rowlett. After he sold the Times in 2000, Greg’s career comprised a mixture of corporate jobs and entrepreneurial ventures.
Gayle began her career in homebuilding, rising through the ranks in sales, marketing, and public relations to a senior leadership position. When the Great Recession hit in 2008, she left Corporate America to launch her own marketing and PR consultancy. What began as a solopreneur venture evolved into a series of successful businesses. In 2014, she became an equity partner in a marketing strategy firm and later launched its sister agency focused on marketing and PR implementation.
With over 17 years of entrepreneurial experience, Gayle has helped numerous small and mid-sized business owners build profitable, scalable companies while creating space for a fulfilling life outside of work as a consultant and coach. Drawing on her extensive entrepreneurial background, Gayle leads both the creative and strategic sides of It’s A Good Sign, helping clients bring their brands to life through impactful signage and visual communication.
Greg, Gayle, and the team at It’s A Good Sign are on a mission to help other business owners succeed.
